		<description>I&#039;m by no means a conservative but I remember a time when the Senators from Maine were offering some good ideas.  I worked on the hill for a few years and got some constructive comments on a bill from Sen. Collins&#039; office. Sen. Snowe is not what you&#039;d call a lightweight, either.   Of course, they&#039;re more moderate than the GOP as a whole.</description>

		<description>I am constantly amazed at the two phenomenon -- that so many on the right embrace the whole Palin/Bachmann thing and that there is still so much sexism in the attacks from the left.  Believe me -- there&#039;s puh-lenty of substance the left can be focusing on!</description>
