No difference. Trumpka's as far off as Nevitt. But let's get to the nub of your complaint. Both groups have remained loyal to politicians that bargained away their interests to save their elected seat and both groups can make or break a candidate."

Yup, they sure can make or break a candidate. But can they make or break an election? Nope. ...or, at least, we're still waiting to see you do it. Until you can deliver the votes, you may want to think twice about your strategy to elect more Republicans - because that's what you're proposing.

Oh, I'm sure that, from the sanctuary of your solid blue senate district or gated community (whichever), all things are possible. But, out here in the real red world, those of us who have to scramble for every vote understand that PC voting against one's district is certain defeat in the next election. After that delicious candidate breaking you salaciously portend, the Republican who wins the general election isn't going to vote your way on anything.

Or, maybe that's what you had in mind. You know, to teach us heretics a lesson. That should be a lot easier than winning a general.
